"There are not enough words to describe the experience we had in Puerto Rico staying for 10 days with our host, Ruben. The property itself is so beautiful with the best view and you can see how much care he put into his home. Ruben made our trip even more special as we were treated as family. Not only did he make us feel welcome, but he took care of us like he was our uncle. He made us food many times, took us to the beach, and even helped us get tickets to the Island of Culebra. These are all things he didn't need to do, but he did because of his big heart.
There are 2 beautiful dogs, Pizzara and Peronia, that greeted us daily, which was the cherry on top. They are so friendly, loveable, and impossible to ignore and resist.
We fell in love with the home and the beautiful town of Ceiba. If you want to stay somewhere that shows the true heart of Puerto Rico, don't stay in San Juan, go to Ceiba. Not only did we have a place that felt like home, but we gained 2 unforgettable furry friends, and a Tio from Puerto Rico.
We honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience! We will definitely be coming back to visit our new family soon!
