Cenote Suytun Tours

I am absolutely LIVID with this resort. I spent thousands of dollars on my 24th birthday trip, and the experience was nowhere near what a 4-star resort should offer. HOW is this a 4-star resort when I went HOURS without running water in my room on several days? Even when water was available, I had to wait for it to get hot. Housekeeping only came every other day, mostly making the bed and replacing towels. Unacceptable. The food safety concerns are alarming. Numerous guests were sick during our stay, and I became ill on October 10. It is now October 19, and I STILL have diarrhea. I cannot confirm the cause, but the number of sick guests is deeply concerning. This was my BIRTHDAY vacation, and the resort couldn't even acknowledge the occasion. Entertainment is practically nonexistent, food stops at 10:30 p.m. despite the bar staying open until 1 a.m., and almost everything beyond basic food and drinks costs extra. So much for all-inclusive. The building is worn down, condensation leaks around the resort, air conditioning is inconsistent, and Wi-Fi doesn't cover the entire property. It's supposedly family-friendly, yet offers very little for children. THIS IS NOWHERE NEAR FOUR STARS. I paid thousands for a birthday vacation and left furious, disappointed, and still dealing with an illness. I WANT A REFUND. The resort failed to deliver basic amenities and the experience I paid for. I could write much more. I would NOT recommend this resort. Save your money.

Overall Very good. Kids friendly. Excellent service. Good food.
