Centennial, Denver hotel rooms at the Independent

"Whoever designed these rooms and furnishings must never travel. No space for a laptop, no place for luggage, LOTS of stupidly wasted space, almost no room between end of bed and small TV counter to walk between them, no microwave, horribly complicated coffee-maker, no ability to view TV from anywhere except lying in bed, work table by couch too short to fit legs under, all very contemporary looking, and functionally useless. Then, they closed their rooftop bar (a big part of why I booked there), 3 hours ahead of schedule. Now add $62 to park your car for one night - RUFKM??"
