"The room was wonderful! Spacious and clean. The restaurant had great food. Friendly staff. Very relaxing stay. I love how dog friendly it is too. It’s tucked away where you feel far away but it’s actually pretty close to down town Santa Cruz and the boardwalk. We will definitely stay again!"

"The hotel was clean and comfortable, although a bit noisy. It was not convenient to get in and out of the parking lot, although being so close to Carmel is great. The staff was very helpful, and we enjoyed our stay."

"We love the Quality Suites in SLO! Feels like home—comfy beds and linens, rooms cleaned and stocked daily with fresh towels, good breakfast, cool firepits, a community courtyard with relaxing pool and hot tub and easy walk to downtown or short drive to Cal Poly campus. We stayed during orientation and came back for move in. Perfect for the two of us in one room and our daughter had her own space in a separate living area with pullout bed! We will be back!"

"This is an old classic hotel and as such has its charm and a fantastic location. However, it could need some freshening up. The floor carpets are unpleasant looking and there is no AC. Monterey weather allows for keeping windows open, the local seagulls do not. I did appreciate them allowing dogs though."
