"Very nice and helpful staff. It is very obvious they care about the property. It definitely could use some updating. The breakfast was presented very well. I've always been loyal to a Best Western but will no longer honor or seek out. Due to a "booking" issue the chain office would not acknowledge I stayed at a Best Western. I now will seek out Choice Hotels or others. If you "stay and pay" you should get the points. It should not depend on how you booked your stay. They should be happy you actually picked a Best Western which was definitely not the nicest in the area!! Good bye Best Western. Sorry to the Clear Lake Best Western, you try very hard."

"I usually don't leave five stars for a three star hotel, but this one absolutely deserves it! It's only been open a few years and I hope that whoever owns this Hotel, corporation, or otherwise, maintains the high-level of cleanliness and aesthetic perfection that my husband and I experienced this past week. We brought our little terrier with us and she felt like a little queen. The pool, the whirlpool and the entire hotel, including your room and bathroom are immaculate. The breakfast has a lot of very good options, I just wish that there was more sliced fruit. But the eggs and the bacon were delicious. Also, there is a lot to do in the area. There is a wonderful restaurant next-door called Zeke's. Absolutely delicious food and has a rooftop bar weather permitting. There's a very nice and exclusive wine bar right next-door to the most elegant bowling alley. I've ever seen in my life. There are a lot of stores nearby, including grocery stores, gas stations, Dollar General dollar tree, secondhand stores and a mall not too far away. My husband and I had a very nice time for our anniversary. We may not be in the area again, but we will seriously consider this Hotel if we do. I would recommend if you want a very quiet experience, book your room on the top floor at the very end of the hall. Tell them to pls keep groups of families with small children or teenagers on the first and second floor to keep noise at a minimum."

"It was gorgeous and so clean. Great Downtown location. Was bummed we didn’t try any of the restaurants onsite. My only gripe is the water bottle situation. They only give you 2 a day then didn’t refresh with housekeeping. When we asked for additional we got a lecture about being charged. Other Hilton properties arent as stingy about this."
