"We arrived 30mins after the start of check in time there was no one at the desk. I rang the bell provided, multiple times and waited for 10 mins before someone showed up. Got our things and headed up to our room, only to find it and all the others on that hall had their doors propped open bc they had not been cleaned yet. Went back down while my husband and daughter stood with our things, and had to ring the bell, call the front and wait with for another 10-15 mins for someone to come help me. He had to get his manager to move the rooms around. I asked what the pool hours were and was told by one employee the hours as the “manager” said it was closed. When I asked if the price of my room reflected that the pool was closed she said it’s been closed all week and posted on our website. I had booked weeks in advance and she just shrugged her shoulders. The employee continues to argue that the part for the pump had come in and goes to “check” and says the pool is open. When we go to look at the pool, the water is GREEN and it doesn’t smell like they have put any chlorine in it in awhile. When asked if they could check the pool chemicals for me, they said the pump is working, the heating is not, and they know they pool is green, but the guys will be back in a few days to add the chemicals. So they are letting people swim in a pool with no chemicals in it. And still didn’t even get a practical reimbursement when the main reason we stayed was so my daughter could swim."
