“I want to give this quaint hotel five stars. The place is beautiful, the staff are super friendly and helpful and professional! The restaurant was Devine - top notch food and spirits! It’s just that it’s not restful. We were up until the staff were done for the night, then other guests filtered in making their own racket. It’s an old house - so it’s truly not meant or designed to be sound-proof. Outside of the disruptions, this was a fantastic stay!”

“Historical building with lots of character, lobby fireplace was warming on a rainy day. The first floor lobby and dining rooms are very dark, great atmosphere but bring a little flashlight. Met a lot of nice people during our stay. The welcoming scotch was fantastic. We heard the breakfast was minimal. It was not, filled with all kinds of homemade apple strudel, mushroom quiche, chocolate pastries, many other delicious sweet muffins, etc.”

“The inn is very pretty. Make sure to have all the instructions available before you arrive. We arrived late at night, nobody was at the front desk and cell phone reception was terrible so it took me a bit of time to find the room number and code to get in. Be ready to take stairs to get to your room. The room was beautiful and so clean. We never got to see any staff on site, but our short stay was very pleasant.”

“Great location, enjoyed the pub, great people (staff and throughout the town). Room was clean and well maintained. Will plan to be back next year for the same event.”
