"My family really enjoyed our stay. The setting of the town and hotel/bed and breakfast was so fun. It takes you back a little for sure. The rooms were comfortable and we enjoyed exploring the town. There are no tvs in the rooms so it forced the kids and us to explore. We found the fun museums and businesses around as well as the park at the school. We chose to drive about 6 miles to Arrow Rock for supper and ate at Catalpa. We would definitely eat at Catalpa again. The next morning we...

"Overall good stay. Older hotel and rooms are not renovated, had a slight musty smell but was better once AC was turned on. Beds were very comfortable, breakfast is very good, cooking staff are really awesome- Midwest hospitality! Disappointment was the the pool was closed, there was construction going on outside the building probably related. Lesson learned always call ahead to see if pool is open or you may have some unhappy children! Overall good experience and would stay there again."

"Most of the staff was very friendly, the room was great. My only complaint was the breakfast which did not have a lot of options to start with for a gluten free person and then they would be running low at 8:00 and we would literally have to ask a staff person several times if there was yougard or why was there no juice or eggs (all juice out of service)."
