"The beds, room and kitchen were clean and comfortable. The management here has clearly made an effort to make guests comfortable. Amenities that one would expect at a 4- or 5-star motel, like new towels, toiletries like shampoo and conditioner, coffee and coffee maker, campfire and firewood, iron, and more are here. Like many Catskill inns, the Starlite is showing its age after decades of use and generations of tourists. It badly needs a reno. There is still a market for a 2-star strip motel...

activity. Only wish the kitchen was equipped with dishwasher and stocked with cooking oil."

"Comments on both good and bad. There were icy spots on the walkway to our room which could have caused a serious fall. The bathroom was warm and appeared upgraded But the water pressure in the shower was very weak. Bath towels were small. My biggest complaint was the TV was OLD school. A small flat screen would have been nice. Lighting in the room was weak. The room was very warm. A very nice breakfast."

trip to Belleayre Mountain, rolled the dice on the Breezy Hill, and won! The owner/operator couple has a fine eye for details to make everyone's stay comfortable, fun, and entertaining. The decor was chosen with lots of thought and the breakfasts well planned, healthy and very delicious indeed. Advice from our

plans to dinner choices were right on the mark. The weather didn't much cooperate, but we still had a terrific stay...
