"The breakfast was good, staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. The hot tub was luke warm. The rooms could be updated but overall good experience. "

"Our stay at the Citizen was excellent. It’s a beautiful hotel with historic features. The manager was very helpful, as well as the valet staff. The bathtub is an interesting design. It’s difficult to get into. We enjoyed the restaurant for lunch and brunch. I highly recommend a stay at the Citizen."

"This place needs to be condemned. It is a crackhouse. Please doing crack in the hallway. Brown stains on the floor. Whole place including the room stank like cigarettes. Several people including us left after being there for a few minutes. The front desk person was nice and did a refund no questions asked if I had to say anything nice."

"I’ve been staying here occasionally for the past 25 years. Unfortunately, it’s just too tired and run down to keep coming back. It’s very inexpensive, so if you just need a place to sleep for a flight, it’s borderline ok. "
