"The Eliott Hotel is an excellent property, I have stayed there over ten times in 2026. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The only problem connected with my stay was I booked it on hotels.com. I have been a regular user of their website for booking for years, but will no longer use it, except to use up the dollars I earned from previous stays. When hotels.com does not have access, or rooms available at a particular hotel on the date specified by the user, hotels.com moves the user to a date in the future when their website has availability, even if it is days or weeks in the future. There is no specific message that hotels.com is changing your specifically desired date. I have suffered 2 times where a rez date was changed by hotels.com and paid for by me and they refused to fix it by issuing a refund. The worst part was the hotels.com on-line help chat, even when manned by a so-called "live agent." At the other end of the chat box might even be a real person, because each claims a unique name (most of which were not very familiar sounding). For one of these reservations where hotels.com independently decided to change my requested date of stay, I was connected to six different parties on the other end, each with a different name. I asked to be connected with a supervisor and was told one would call me within an hour, AND TO STAY OFF MY PHONE UNTIL HE CALLED. NOT TOTALLY UNEXPECTED, HOTELS.COM NEVER CALLED ME. Two hours of my life and a few hundred dollars lost!"

"I enjoyed my stay at the hotel and in fact extended my stay by one day. The room allocated was very nice, comfortable, clean and from the small balcony I had a lovely view across the bay to Gibraltar and Algeciras. The room had a fridge and coffee making facilities. The room was cleaned each day. The breakfast provided by the hotel was satisfactory with hot and cold options available. I used the small gym each day of my stay. There was a small selection of weights and a couple of running / cross training machines. All of the staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. The hotel is a 15 minute walk from the town centre where there is a wide range of cafes, bars, restaurants for eating out if you don’t want to dine in the hotel. The only negative thing I would note was that on arrival I asked where the advertised outdoor pool was and was advised that there was no pool. The outdoor pool is part of the advertised facilities and is also mentioned in the floor guide in the lift. I had selected the hotel in part because of the advertised outdoor pool. Disappointing."

"This was my second visit to this gem in Gibraltar. We stayed for 3 night over Easter, staying in a room with a terrace and views over the bay. I love the appearance of the hotel, the warm welcome, the location overlooking the Botanical Gardens, the swimming pool and the excellent food. The restaurant offered a wide choice of breakfast items, and a reasonably broad dinner menu. Unlike the last time I was here in 2014, the room safe was free to use - a big step forward. On arrival we noticed that the floor of our room felt gritty underfoot. Although we asked housekeeping to vacuum the floor the next time they were in, this didn’t happen. In every other way the housekeeping was good: replacing the towels, making the bed, etc. But the floor still felt like it needed a good vacuuming / mopping. Overall, I still love this hotel and plan to return in the near future."

E depois de romper todas as barreiras do nosso cansaço, fomos surpreendidos em todos os detalhes por uma tripulação que jamais esquecerei. Todos, absolutamente todos formam um time de excelência, os recepcionistas, o gerente geral (que se apresentou), a gerente do restaurante (extremamente amável), a garçonete que cuidou do nosso almoço e também o pessoal que colocou as malas dentro do carro. Après avoir surmonté notre épuisement, nous avons été émerveillés par chaque détail grâce à une équipe que je n'oublierai jamais. Ils nous ont fait sentir comme chez nous et nous ont charmés par leur attention et leur passion pour chaque détail. Absolument tout le monde forme une équipe formidable : les réceptionnistes, le directeur général (qui s'est présenté), la directeur du restaurant (d'une extrême gentillesse), la serveuse qui s'est occupée de notre déjeuner, et même le personnel qui a chargé nos bagages dans la voiture. La meilleure expérience que j'aie jamais vécue lors de mes voyages à travers le monde : élégante, discrète, efficace et aimable. Un immense merci !"
