Incredible!

Incredible place! Only stayed one night but wished I could have stayed longer. Beautiful view, good services and a very nice room. Breakfast outdoors with a view of Mont Blanc is something I will never forget

Really lovely hotel, with really friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful location, and we liked that it was a 10-15 walk into town. It's a steep walk, but easy in regular footwear. Really well appointed room - obviously in chalet style, and had everything that was needed. The restaurant was excellent - though I'm not a massive fan of tasting menu's - which was the only option. Everything served up was excellent though, and the service was very good. Recommended.

While a lovely lodge with an excellent chef, we found its location to be less than ideal considering they offer no transportation, particularly to and from the bus/train station. The walk is uphill the whole way - with luggage it can become problematic! If they would only offer a pickup and drop off upon arrival and departure, that would be great!

The view. One of the most beautiful views of Mont Blanc and surrounding mountains. Very comfortable rooms and bathrooms. Classic chalet style. The restaurant is extraordinary. The walk to town and back earns and burns calories but if in reasonable shape, very pretty and pleasant. Nice little spa facility also.

While we did not enjoy the steep climb to get to this hotel, we quite enjoyed the location and the gorgeous view. Maxime in particular was very gracious, courteous, and helpful. We would stay there again should we return.

The most striking impression initially is the incomparable view of the Mont Blanc massif from this property. I can't imagine a better location. The staff, bar none, was superb and paid attention to every need. The restaurant was very good. Highly recommend this property!

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We tripped a breaker (all our power went out), but they were able to fix it quickly. We also said we might be a touch late for checkout and if they could just hold our luggage which they did. The views of Mont Blanc can't be beat here. Absolutely loved the patio and lounge chairs just outside the room.

We enjoyed our three nights at Auberge du Bois Prin. Before booking, we understood from expedia reviews that it is not actually in town but in a quiet semi rural area, 700 meters up a steep hill from the edge of town. It was raining. Taxis were 25€. We usually drove 800 m to Parking d‘Outa at the margin of the center of town The rooms are nice. Breakfast is great. The hot tub and spa are each large enough for 2 strangers or 3 in the same group.

I wanted to a romantic, traditional mountain retreat and the Auberge was perfect. Our room had a small garden where we could sit and have a coffee and stare at Mont Blanc and watch the sun and moon light the peaks. The room is cozy and the bathroom has a whirlpool type bathtub. The staff was friendly and helpful. The Auberge is up the mountain and we like to walk so loved it. The village center is a 15 minute walk down the hill so you must walk back up the hill lol! A wonderful place with parking and good restaurant. The breakfast is available as well. A wonderful place.

Nice boutique hotel with great view

It is a boutique hotel about 15 mins walk from the centre of Chamonix with a great view of Mont Blanc in a quiet neighborhood . The balcony of the room is have a direct view of Mont Blanc. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really excellent and again with a great view of Mont Blanc

The property was great. The room and bed were very comfortable. The balcony offered Wonderful views of Mont Blanc. The spa and hot tub or outdoors, and provided a wonderful view of Mont Blanc. There is a high-end restaurant with a well esteemed chef on staff. We did not have a meal, however we have heard that it is very good.
