"The hotel was well worn. We booked here because of location to Ishpeming and for that I would give it 5 stars. The breakfast was nice. We picked this hotel because of the pool. We were very disappointed because the pool and hot tub were closed upon our arrival. We were told it was being serviced. On the third day the pool was still closed but the hot tub was operating. Having three children under 9 it was very disappointing. We were never offered the use of the outdoor pool on the owners other...
"If you are looking for a relaxing, rustic stay that takes you back to coming up north as a kid..this place is for you. The rooms were clean, the place was quiet, pet-friendly as well!"
"For a older property it looks good inside and out. The hallway lights could be brighter though. The plants outside needed attention (weeded, watered, trimmed). The only real complaint is it needs a sign where you are to enter the driveway."
"I’ll never stay at the Brentwood again. It smelled like cat uterine and smoke inside, and the carpet was heavily stained. I didn’t take my bag of clothes inside for fear of what may have been crawling around. I got only a couple hours of sleep and departed as soon as I feasibly could manage."
