This hotel is amazing! The staff speak excellent English and are eager to help with anything, from booking taxis to helping you with planning your stay. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a welcome drink and then spent the evening in the rooftop restaurant, which offers delicious food and provides breathtaking views.

This resort is few blocks away from the noisy tourist street and is an excellent place for peaceful stay with a beautiful mountain view. We are a group of 4 from Texas USA and we all enjoyed this resort especially a foggy early morning with fresh air. The sitting area in the first floor and the tea room at the 5th floor are all beautifully designed, making us really want to sit down comfortably and read a good book. The view from the room looking at the mountains facing west (beautiful sunset view) was astonishing. The staff was kind, polite and very friendly. Ms. Linzi, Mr. Zhu and other staff members went out of the way to delight the customers. If you are planning a trip to Yangsou, plan 2-3 days and be with nature to decompress and relax. Don’t miss the dining at Magpie Restaurant (Yulong River Branch) 10 minutes walk from the hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed the food here recommended by the hotel staff.

It’s a beautiful location on a hillside behind roadside buildings in Jima Village. It is a very quiet area within a cheap and easy DiDi ride from West Street.

The hotel had incredible mountain views, peaceful river scenery, spacious rooms, and excellent service from start to finish. My only complaints are the shower isn't well designed it has a lot of standing water all the time as it doesn't drain, and there's no real service at the pool area, you have to hunt someone down. The buffet for breakfast was fine, nothing special but pretty in how they set it up. I didn't try the expensive restaurant as they wanted to charge $300 a person for the tasting menu. Insane pricing really - we ate for $20-30 a night...

We went there for part of our one week trip to Guilin and Yangshuo area. There are lots of small hotels scattered around Yangshuo and that makes it difficult to choose. Finally, we choose Li River Resort because it is not in the city centre (the West Street) which is too busy for a relaxed trip whilst not very far away from places of action.
