What a beautiful property and what a beautiful, extreme professional staff the only exception is the swimming pool situation when I’m seeing kids defecating inside the pool and that was a turn off for the experience, not be able to use the pool because of what I’ve seen between dirty diapers and parents tried to hide the kids number one and number two it was very, very, very upsetting. Overall the hotel is very nice. but for that reason alone, I will never come there again, especially when it’s a vacation resort and I would like to use the facilities, especially the pool

This property was amazing. The staff were especially nice and attentive. The property was a little dimly lit in the evening and the bathrooms extremely dark. Both restaurants offered exceptional food. We arrived for the opening week of the season and it did seem like they could not handle the reservations for dinner. We chose room service for our final night and it did not disappoint. A special thank you to June for looking out for us. Amazing service!

Domes Zeen is a beautiful tranquil hotel - the staff are beyond friendly and helpful and the location is a short cab ride from the lovely old town of Chania. The food at the hotel was delicious and the pool with our villa was magical. We are already talking about next year.

Superb service

Superb service and friendly staff. Hotel Manager gave us a later than normal check out which made a big difference to our experience (thank you). Great way to end the trip. Our room was so lovely with a large private pool area. Loved it.

Good but can improve

Great overall experience. The hotel is very clean and room are spacious. My issue was that rooms didn’t have a proper isolation were sounds of next door neighbors can easily disturb your stay. Also the resort is very family oriented and lots of kids playing around. This needs to be considered for travelers who prefer an otherwise tranquil vacation.

Outstanding hotel, with amazing staff. Domes Zeen has exceeded all expectations- the room was perfect with a wonderful outside area and a plunge pool, the breakfast has all every option for every taste and the staff always went above and beyond. We didn’t spend much time at the pool because the beach was amazing and we had our own plunge pool, but be warned that the pool is a highlight for young children so it might get busy, but it’s not too loud so can still enjoy your time. The gym was well equipped and it never got too busy in the morning. Chania is about 40 minutes walk, we did that once and then resorted to taxis or hotel transfers - it was a lot easier.

Overall very nice private option. Beautiful hotel with modern rooms. Staff very courteous. Very quiet and peaceful environment at time of our visit. On the con side, Access road was difficult to find as it’s a side street. lots of walking up and down stairs to get to your room. Having a rental car was very helpful as it’s about a 10 minute drive to Chania’s sites. Adjacent lots are undeveloped and unsightly.

I have a fish allergy and communicated to the hotel prior to and at check-in. The restaurant was never informed properly and not prepared for me. The Michelin Star restaurant, Gallina, was terrible. It took 25 minutes to get still and sparkling water. Service was subpar and not trained to the expectations one would expect at a Michelin Star restaurant. The wine steward spilled as he poured the wine, didn't wipe the bottle and red wine drops were all over the table. We had 2 children that were promised a special menu, but by the time we were served, they told us there was no food for the kids, SO WE LEFT! MY ADVICE: go to a local taverna. We did and it saved the trip.

Domes Zeen Chania is hands down my favourite hotel to date! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and genuine smiles from the staff, setting the tone for an unforgettable stay. The attention to detail at this luxurious retreat is nothing short of spectacular. The rooms are beautifully designed, blending modern elegance with earthy tones and natural textures that perfectly complement the stunning surroundings. Each space feels like a private oasis, with breathtaking views of the sea and gardens that provide a sense of peace and tranquility. The food at Domes Zeen is an absolute highlight! The restaurants offer a diverse and delectable array of dishes, all made with fresh, local ingredients. Every meal is a culinary journey, with flavors that reflect both the richness of Cretan cuisine and international influences. Breakfasts are a dream, offering a variety of options from fresh fruits, pastries, to made-to-order omelets. Dinner is a gourmet experience, with each dish artfully prepared and bursting with flavor. What truly makes Domes Zeen exceptional is the staff. They went above and beyond to make my 40th bday special, and attentive for my guests. Whether it’s offering recommendations for local experiences, providing thoughtful touches like complimentary treats, or simply remembering your preferences, their level of service is unmatched. You feel truly cared for in every interaction. Already booking my trip back to this slice of paradise!

The property was nice and very well kept. The staff at the front desk were not very kind except for one customer relations woman who was very helpful and lovely. I think her name was Marialena. She went out of her way to be accommodating and caring and helpful. Otherwise the other front desk staff were not particularly welcoming. The breakfast was a bit limited in its choices especially for healthier options such as fresh fruit.

Fantastic room and great common facilities. Standard of food also excellent and location on the beach was fantastic. The only difficulty we had was finding the hotel. The only direction services that accurately took us. There were Google maps
