Beautiful traditional decor and a great breakfast provided. The hospitality was fabulous, they were so welcoming and friendly! The location is very good, so close to the harbour.

Beautiful and unique space- so, be prepared to climb and then be rewarded for your efforts. We loved exploring Chania, we loved the property and wish we had an extra day just to spend lounging in the room and on the roof garden. We don't usually eat breakfast but would not miss this breakfast for anything, hot coffee, fresh juice, quiet old cafe feel. We truly appreciated the peaceful ,yet busy, mornings, smiling faces, and great service.

We stayed for 3 nights at the Lux Villa Ifigenia location in Theriso Village If you looking to stay in a very original, authentic home both unique and old-fashioned that is located in a very small and quiet village, this might be a good option for you. Be prepared though for 3 floor living, tight circular stairs, lots of antique decor and furnishings, base-only showers, inconsistent hot water etc. The AC and WiFi both work well though and there is off-street parking. The village consists of only a few homes but does have a few Taverna restaurants and a small local store. The village is about a 20 minute drive from the main road. An “interesting” experience but a little too original, worn and dated for us.

Good bang for buck

We arrived there and we had to call the reception desk because the front door was locked but everything went smoothly as the person arrived there in 10 minutes. Though, we hadn't any information about breakfast or anything apart from which room was ours. The room itself is ok for the price but the bed could've been a bit comfier and the bathing area a bit bigger so one person can fit normally. The breakfast was amazing! Not only the food was really good but also the service was top level.

Totally false information about the villa

We were a group of seven friends that had booked the villa that Ifigenia owns. On the home page of hotels.com it says that the villa is in the center of the old town in Chania. When we arrived we discovered that the villa was located far away, up in the mountains. We spent 100 Euro on two taxis to go to the villa and back to town! We had to find new rooms for all seven in the old town. We have asked both Ifigenia and hotels.com for a refund. We have sent over proof of the taxi bills and the payment receipt for the new room we had to book. But no response so far other than mails asking for receipts. am really sorry for the way both hotels.com and Ifigenia treated us. I have been member of hotels.com for 15 years, and they always have given good service.

Nice room

The room was nice and we enjoyed the jacuzzi tub though it seemed to leak a little at the bottom. We experienced some problems with water pressure in the shower and sink, though only once did it prevent us from showering. We were in the top floor room which may explain the pressure problems. The beds are in a loft which made it hotter at night, we had to blast the air to keep it cool.

Serene. Peaceful. Beautiful.

For the price of this hotel, I got more than I expected. The room was gorgeous, had the rustic look to it with a cute small balcony. The room had wine and raki provided for free! Although the stairs were small and spiraled up, it was worth it. Private rooftop in the room I stayed at, great for laying out to catch some sun. Service was outstanding! I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a true Greek living experience, much better than an expensive hotel.

Soggiorno romantico

Siamo stati a Chania 2 notti. La suite è molto bella e romantica, spaziosa e con una vista sulle strade interne davvero bella. Il personale è cordiale e alla mano, anche se non tutti parlano bene ingele. Le uniche pecche che proprio possiamo trovare sono: - la tv aveva solo canili greci, - colazione potrebbe essere un po più varia, ma comunque buona.

Studio dans la vieille ville

Nous avons réservé un vol hôtel pour deux semaines à Hania. Cet hôtel est situé au cœur de la vieille ville très près du port vénitien mais avec l'inconvénient du bruit (jusque tard dans la nuit). L'hôtel est un peu vieillot, très sonore (escaliers en métal) et mériterait un peu de rénovation des équipements. Cependant, il y a une kitchenette qui permet une certaine indépendance et le rapport qualité-prix est convenable.
