My son was graduating from high school and it was at the North Charleston Coliseum which is right across the street from this hotel. It was very convenient to be that close. My only 2 complaints were there was only 1 trash can in the entire room and the hardwood floor was extremely dirty, so much as it left the bottom of my barefeet completely black.

Our room did not have hand towels or washcloths when we checked in. They told us that if we wanted the room made up, we needed to let them know before ten the next morning. Because of the missing linens, we asked them to make up our room. It didn't happen. They don't care.

We had a great stay at Tru. Walked to dinner and drinks at Bonefish, then to the performing Arts Center for a show, and then quick walk back to the room. Great location

I would love to give Doris in Charleston, South Carolina an excellent review because her customer service was impeccable! She was so nice, patient and lovely. The property manager was extremely helpful as well. Though I forget his name, I would still love to acknowledge his work. Now, I must say the rooms weren’t the cleanest. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t the best. It was some particles in the bed when I rolled my husband and I sheets back. There were dried stains on the floor and specs on the bathroom walls. We were locked out of our room for about three hours because the battery died. The property manager accommodated us and we were really grateful for that. Our top complement was the customer service. It was over the top and we both loved it. Thank you all so much.

Staff never came to clean our room , we stayed with friends and there room never got cleaned also we had to take our trash out and the beds were never made on this 3 day weekend, and go to the lobby to get new towels , this hotel is best a 2 star hotel , highly don’t recommend
