"We stayed at the Mayfair for 4 nights and really enjoyed our stay! The staff were friendly and polite and the room was comfortable. Having drinks at the rooftop bar was the perfect way to enjoy the evening. Not to mention, the location was fantastic and conveniently located across from Rundle St Mall.
I would have given 5 stars for everything if not for the slightly aged room. For example, all USB charging sockets in the room were broken. And teh layout was slightly odd, e.g. power outlets were in far corners and the room phone was tucked away in a corner almost behind the cupboard. I suppose that’s also because its a heritage building converted into a hotel.
Also, another little inconvenience is that there isn’t a proper driveway/drop-off point at the hotel and you need to get off/on at the loading zone along the street, but when the loading zone is full (which was often), it’s really difficult to load/unload your luggage."
"The Club Prestige Suite was fantastic! Plenty of space; two toilets, bathroom with shower and large bathtub, connecting passage way, seperate walk-in robe area, seperate living room and seperate King Bedroom. Clean and in excellent condition. Bathroom well appointed and large. Complimentary water, tea, coffee and evening turn-down service where they prepare the kettle and tea for you. King Bed very comfortable and fresh. Wonderful lighting options, great technology and TV Channels and connectivity to the TV for Airplay. The Club Milleseme exclusive access was excellent with breakfast, afternoon tea and evening cocktails and snacks included. Wonderful service and experience. "
