The air conditioning did not work in our room. We were there for 2 nights. I was gone all day after the 1st night and got back late evening and the room was still hot and stuffy. I called the front desk and was instructed how to set the thermostat, it was already set correctly. I called a 2nd time and she said maintenance was not available til next morning. I then went to the front desk in person to discuss. She said there was nothing she could do and she did not have any other room available. I asked for compensation and she said she couldn’t do that because I had made my reservation through Expedia. I asked for a fan and I was denied and I asked for the manager and she said she was the manager. So I asked if I was supposed to stay in this hot room, and she said that was my only option. I have never had a negative experience while staying at a Marriott, but this was horrible customer service and a horrible stat. We are also Marriott rewards members. Very disappointing.
