Sam was incredibly accommodating us once my wife told him of her knee surgery. He moved us to a first floor location. The place is so conveniently located and totally charming. I can’t imagine anyone not being happy there.

The room was amazing, we got The Haviland, which was a king room, with a fireplace and a jacuzzi tub. The staff was amazing and they also brought us fresh towels. It was also very close to restaurants and fun places like The Pony Boat. I highly recommended this place!

Stately, Charming house; location was walking distance to most attractions in Charlottetown. Not as close to the waterfront as other hotels though. If you want to stay here, book directly on the Inn’s website. Prices are higher on Expedia and breakfast is included only if you book with them. Our room (Richmond in the main house) was over $500/night. Was expecting a nicer room. Our bathroom was tiny: 3.5’ x 7’. No shelf in the shower stall. You have to pick up the shower gel and shampoo from the floor. The furniture in the room was very old and full of stains. The wifi was intermittent in the evening; you cannot watch TV. The concierge desk closes at 11pm. We were out late with friends, and the front door was locked. The key didn’t work on the old lock. Had to text management and wait for someone to open the door. The place is really a bed and breakfast with hotel prices.

What a beautiful place to stay in Charlottetown! Lovely historic inn on a quiet street but within a short walking distance to shops, restaurants and the waterfront. The staff were exceptional and went above and beyond. The breakfast was delicious. I would highly recommend the Fairholm Boutique Inn.
