We've got the lowdown on how to make your journey as stress-free as possible. Follow our tips and you'll be speeding through the airport and exploring Carthage before you know it. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- First of all, pack in your passport, official ID, bank cards and vital medications. Next, you'll need some entertainment to while away the time. A juicy book and a phone filled with your favorite shows are some terrific options. If you intend to catch up on some sleep, a comfy neck pillow and a pair of noise-canceling headphones will also be useful. Finally, leave some space for a toothbrush and some deodorant so you'll touchdown feeling fresh and raring to go.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Squeeze all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and conditioner in your checked luggage. Any gels or liquids in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated. Sharp objects, like your beloved pocket knife, and dangerous products which are flammable or explosive, such as aerosols and strong acids, are also not allowed.
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should be your top priority when deciding what to wear on your flight. Loose, breathable clothing is a smart choice, as are flat, slip-on shoes.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clotting condition caused by prolonged inactivity, can be a risk on long-haul flights. Walk around the cabin and give your legs a stretch or do some gentle exercises in your seat to promote better circulation.
