Depending on where you're coming from, your journey to Domme could be as easy as pie or it could drag on forever. We've put together some useful travel tips that will help you start your unforgettable escape on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Flying can be a great experience if you pack the right stuff. First of all you'll need basic toiletry items, such as deodorant, toothpaste and a toothbrush, a fresh set of clothes and something to read. Next, make room in your carry-on bag for your phone and charger, your important medications and maybe a proper neck pillow too. Last, but definitely not least, be sure to take your passport, travel docs and some cash.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Squeeze all your full-sized bottles of hair gel and hairspray in your checked luggage. Any liquids in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated. Pointed or sharp objects, like your treasured Swiss Army knife, and dangerous goods which are explosive or flammable, such as flares, bleaching agents and gasoline, are also prohibited.
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should be your main concern when choosing what to wear during your flight. Loose, breathable clothing is a smart option, as are flat, slightly roomy shoes.
- The result of lengthy periods of inactivity, deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a blood clot condition that can affect some passengers on long-haul flights. Reduce the risks by drinking water, keeping your lower limbs moving and wearing compression tights or socks.
