Depending on where you're coming from, your trip to Gacko could be a breeze or it could drag on forever. We've put together some tips that will help you start your next big adventure on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- It's easy — first, put in your passport, official ID, wallet and medications. Next, you'll need some entertainment to help pass the time. A juicy book and a laptop crammed with your favorite shows are some terrific options. If you hope to take a short snooze, a neck pillow and some earplugs will also be useful. Finally, leave space for a toothbrush and some facial wipes so you'll arrive looking fresh and raring to go.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Squeeze all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hairspray in your checked baggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated by authorities. Sharp objects, like your beloved Swiss Army knife, and products which are flammable or explosive, such as aerosols and fireworks, are also restricted.
What to wear on a flight:
- Your main priority is to be as comfortable as possible. Choose a pair of flat, closed-toe shoes, dress in loose, breathable clothing and don't forget to take a sweater in case you get chilly in the cabin.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clot condition caused by extended periods of inactivity, can be a risk on long-haul flights. Wander around the cabin and stretch your legs or do some gentle exercises in your seat to promote better circulation.
