We've got the lowdown on how to make your journey an enjoyable experience. Follow our tips and you'll be cruising through the airport and having a blast in Kostanjica in next to no time. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- It's simple — first, pack in your passport, travel docs, bank cards and medications. Next, you'll need some extra in-flight entertainment to while away the time. A juicy book and a tablet crammed with your favorite shows are some wonderful options. If you intend to take a quick snooze, a comfy neck pillow and a pair of noise-canceling headphones will also come in handy. Finally, leave some space for a toothbrush and some facial wipes to ensure you hop off the plane looking fresh and raring to go.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Pack all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hairspray in your checked baggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) won't be allowed on. Sharp or pointed objects, like your beloved pocket knife, and dangerous products which are explosive or flammable, such as aerosol cans, flares and gasoline, are also not allowed.
What to wear on a flight:
- The aisles of an airplane are no place for a fashion parade. Dress in comfortable layers and choose shoes that are flat, roomy and easy to pull on and off.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) can pose a risk on long-distance flights. It's the result of blood clots forming due to poor circulation and inactivity, so do some gentle leg and foot exercises in your seat and consider wearing compression tights or socks.
