We've got the lowdown on how to make your flight an enjoyable experience. Follow our tips and tricks and you'll be cruising through airport security and enjoying Lutsk in no time flat. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- A plane trip can be a pleasure if you take the right gear. Firstly, you'll want some basic toiletry items, such as deodorant and a toothbrush, a fresh set of clothes and a good read. Next, leave space in your carry-on bag for your laptop, a charger, any daily medications and maybe a neck pillow as well. Lastly, and most importantly, remember to take your passport, travel docs and some money.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Leave all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and conditioner in your checked luggage. Any liquids in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated by authorities. Sharp or pointed objects, like a Swiss Army knife, and dangerous goods which are flammable or explosive, such as flares, bleaching agents and matches, are also banned.
What to wear on a flight:
- The aisles of an airplane are no place for a fashion parade. Dress in comfortable layers and choose shoes that are closed-toe, flat and easy to pull on and off.
- Caused by sustained periods of inactivity, deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a blood clot condition that can affect passengers on long-distance flights. Lower your risks by staying hydrated, keeping your feet and legs moving and wearing compression tights or socks.
