If you're not prepared, traveling can be testing. But there's no need to hit the panic button just yet. Follow these tips and tricks for a trouble-free start to your getaway in Saint-Martin-le-Bouillant.What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Firstly, and most importantly, pack in your passport, travel docs, cash and daily medications. Next, you'll need some entertainment to help pass the time. A thrilling book and a tablet crammed with your favorite shows are some terrific options. If you hope to take a short nap, a comfy neck pillow and some noise-canceling headphones will also be useful. Finally, leave some space for a toothbrush and some facial wipes so you'll arrive at your destination feeling fresh as a daisy.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Leave all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hair gel in your checked luggage. Any liquids in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) won't be allowed on. Sharp objects, like a Swiss Army knife, and dangerous products which are explosive or flammable, such as flares, bleaching agents and gasoline, are also not allowed.
What to wear on a flight:
- The goal here is to feel as comfortable as you can. Don layers of natural-fiber clothing and don't forget to pack a jacket in case it gets cool. Always go with flat, well-fitting shoes as your feet may swell a little during the flight. Leave the stilettos and heavy hiking boots in your luggage.
- The serious condition called deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a risk on long-haul flights. It results from blood clotting due to poor circulation and inactivity. Doing leg and foot exercises while seated is a great way to prevent this occurring. Wearing a pair of compression socks or tights also helps reduce your risk.
