Depending on where you're coming from, your trip to Tovuz could be a breeze or it could drag on forever. We've pulled together some useful tips that will help you start your next great escape on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- A plane trip can be a comfortable experience if you take the right stuff. First of all you'll need toiletry items, such as toothpaste, a toothbrush and some deodorant, a fresh change of clothes and something to read. Secondly, leave space in your bag for your mobile phone, a charger, your important medications and maybe a proper neck pillow as well. Last, but definitely not least, be sure to take your passport, travel docs and your bank cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Double-check that you don't have a sharp object lurking in one of the compartments of your hand luggage. Other restricted items include flammable or explosive substances, like aerosols and matches, and liquids and gels in containers with a volume of more than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters).
What to wear on a flight:
- The aisles of an airplane are not the place for a fashion parade. Wear comfortable clothes and remember to take a cardigan as it can get quite cool inside the cabin during longer flights. Enclosed, flat shoes are also a wise idea.
- A serious condition known as DVT (deep vein thrombosis) can pose a risk on long-haul flights. It's the result of blood clotting due to poor circulation. Walking around the cabin and doing regular leg and foot exercises in your seat helps to prevent this occurring. Wearing a pair of compression tights or socks can also help.
