Nice standard King Bed room, up to date furniture & bathroom (stand-up glass front shower) Con- AC unit was extremely loud when it turned off & on, which made our night rest, not restful, as we woke up to it very frequently. Front desk staff, breakfast attendants and all encountered staff was friendly and gave great customer service! Thanks 😊

This hotel was very clean and close to restaurants and highways. In fact, a little too close to the highway if vehicle noise bothers you. We turned up the fan on the AC system and slept great. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was terrific. We did like that the bathroom sink was outside of the toilet and shower area. The breakfast had a lot of good variety and the staff was very friendly. The biggest downside was unreliable wifi in the room.

All the employees we met were very friendly. The ladies in charge of breakfast did a great job keeping food fresh and areas clean. There was eggs; egg sandwiches, oatmeal, fresh fruit ,cereal, fresh waffles and more. Collette at the front desk was very helpful. The outdoor pool was nice too. The only complaint was the mattress and pillows weren’t comfortable. The bed too firm and pillows too flat

Our experience with Collette was more than we could have hoped for. There was an issue with our booking and she went above and beyond to help my family get a room that was able to accommodate us. She was kind and so gracious despite the late hour. She made our stay so much more comfortable! The breakfast was hot and the breakfast hostesses worked hard to make sure that the buffet was stocked. There were many gluten free options

The entire staff during our stay were beyond welcoming and helpful starting with David and “Coke” at the front desk. From the moment that we checked in, and throughout our three day stay, they treated us like family as if we were repeat guests whom they’ve known for years. The property is kept up well and is in a great central location close to shops, restaurants, and the highway. The room was spacious and bed and pillows were super comfortable. Breakfast was great. The only thing that we felt needs improvement but will still give 5 stars for is that while the bathroom is very roomy, there is no shelf or counter where to place anything such as a robe, towels, toiletries or change of clothes. We look forward to staying at the Fairfield Inn & Suites in Chesapeake on any future trips to the area.
