If I could share photos of what my room looked like I would. There was blood all over my curtains, moldy food in the fridge, sink did not drain, and the elevator was absolutely disgusting with wet rags and liquid all over. I was expecting more from a Holiday inn. I will not be staying here again and would recommend you take your money somewhere else.

For 3 days i did not have hot water! The smoking area is filthy, cigarette butts everywhere and in the pit. Beer cans and beer bottles and cases were left for 3 nights on the floor. Along with garbage. Inside dining area, cups and garbage were left behind for days. Water from the pool in the lobby and elevator. Garbage left in elevator for 2 days. Smell of weed everywhere!

Ugh…I couldn’t believe why the previous reviews were so great to other people. First of all, their hallyways and rooms are stinky. Even though it’s supposed to be smoke free, it smells full of smoke and bleach. I had to change once I got the first room assigned though my second room assigned was NOT any better. It was so stinky and dusty. The bathtub drain was totally annoying. I spent a half an hour to take a shower, 25 minutes just to wait the water to drain down the pipe and 5 minutes of actual shower. My daughter fell down and almost hit her head down in the bathtub due to the soapy water that didn’t drain through the pipe. I complained to fix the drainage or change the room at the front desk but they totally ignored my request. In addition, I spent 3 nights but the maid didn’t organize the bed at all during the day and never vacuumed as you can imagine. I would never recommend anyone unless you want to torture yourself. I was so upset especially when my daughter fell down in the tub. I want to sue if it’s worth it…

We've stayed in worse places. For a night or 2, it's fine. We just concluded a 6 night stay. The first thing, is that my daughter's room and mine had hang tags for service, none showed up... for 4 days. We were developing a lot of trash. Day before yesterday, we saw a housekeeper 3 doors down. I went to ask her to clean our room. I didn't see her or hear her in that room so we decided to do our laundry; that's a WHOLE 'nother story. Afterward, we came back up. Her cart was still there. I decided to just watch her, hoping perhaps she was heading our way, but she went the other direction. I asked her to clean our room. She told me to go to the front desk. Sure did! I went to talk to the front desk and had found the housekeeping supervisor. Told her what was going on and she took off quickly. We went out for a little bit. The bed was made; trash was gone. My daughter's room too. There's a washer and dryer. it was 2.00 in quarters for both machines. My husband asked for change and was told they didn't have it and get change from the 7/11. The phone didn't work, couldn't call the desk to tell them the TV didn't work. Breakfast was 14.95. We were told that "it isn't Holiday Inn Express". A couple desk clerks were somewhat helpful. There is one or 2 that need to reconsider their life choices. If you can overlook the myriad of inconveniences, then it isn't all that bad.

It seems farther away from Ohare vs as seen on map. It’s industrial area and about 15 min drive to airport. They have a shuttle but I don’t believe it ever moved during my stay and while we were in pool had noticed so hesitant to use it. The pool was nice and warm vs freezing water you usually get. There were toys like an inflatable, a water gun, and 2 balls which the kids definitely enjoyed playing with in the pool. The bed was not so comfy for me it was way too soft and small side of queen. My kid was comfortable in his bed.
