"It has a good local older bar scene. Cleanliness and maintenance were poor. Paint was was flaking off and entrance canopy was moldy. The handle on our room door came right off in my hand. Alot of stairs, no elevator or help with luggage. Pack light, and go for the location and history."

"Hotel was clean You could tell it was an older hotel that was remodeled. Rooms were decent. Breakfast was ok. Family trip. We just stayed home be night drinking down to Tampa."

"The location is between two busy streets but also close to lots of stores and restaurants. The staff was great and the room was very nice with a separate sitting area. The breakfast was not that good, just the typical scrambled eggs, greasy sausage, and undercooked potatoes. There were no biscuits or gravy even though there was an empty container for them. My wife just had cereal but said the skim milk was “funny tasting”. I made waffles. The coffee was very strong which we liked. Parking was fine but there were a lot of contractors with large trucks. There are other hotel options nearby which might be better at this price point."
