The only place to stay in Christchurch

As always Linda was very accommodating and the place is spot less.Ticks all the boxes for us,clean,quiet,wifi, friendly host, comfortable beds,etc,etc, we have been back to The Adorian time and time again.

The motel is definitely older and a bit tired. Decor from the 1960’s and the curtains need new hooks but as others have said friendly helpful staff ans though older style , the motel was clean. Bed was comfortable. And it is a very quiet location. The motel is priced accordingly but if you just need somewhere to sleep it works fine.

We spent one night with 2 adults and 2 kids. The room was spacious and although it was one space we all felt we had our own space. The room was older but had a really good feel. I would definitely stay again.

Old-school Kiwi motel - clean, tidy and fronted up by the awesome and incredibly hospitable Linda. The two bed unit was unbelievably cheap, clean and comfortable. Very convenient for town too. The area has a few "characters", but nothing that reflects on the motel or impacts your stay. No questions at all that we would be back again.

Linda was so welcoming, only too keen to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Clean towels and linen frequently, even lending a clothes horse! Accommodation was very roomy, separate bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. Conveniently placed in Christchurch, close to town, Harley Park, and Botanic Gardens. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again, and highly recommend to others.

The staff welcomed us very heartily and was very helpful and kind. Everything was very clean. Location is near the CBD and very quiet. Free parking is available. We very much enjoyed the kitchen in our accommodation. The only downside was that the upper floor is not noise isolated, hence you'll hear every step the person is doing above you.

I booked this place on behalf of my elderly mother who doesn’t travel often and I couldn’t be more pleased that I did. From the phone call a couple of days prior to make sure they knew my mother wasn’t used to staying in motels to the lovely lovely hosptatily she recovered throughout her stay. I can’t thank you enough for making my mum feel so settled and well cared for. She’s requested we try and book here for any future trips she may have and I will definitely be doing so. Thank you again for such wonderful wonderful service.
