"We stayed here for one night and I must say, what a wonderful find this inn was! Set in a lovely village location we were made to feel so very welcome from the moment that we walked through the door. The staff and the service were outstanding and a special mention must go to the amazing Sarah who went above and beyond to make our night so special, apologies for making your shift a bit longer than you expected! But you are an absolute credit to the establishment so thank you again. The room was warm, welcoming and beautifully decorated as was the bar/restaurant area. Some fantastic drinks available to try and the food was absolutely top notch, it was just everything that you could want for a night(or longer) away. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a stay at The Manor House Inn to anyone and we will definitely return again as soon as we can!"

"This is the second time we have stayed at this property and already booked to come back again. Everything you need for a pleasant stay. Free parking is also a bonus. Just a few minutes away from the showground where they hold antique fairs. Jeff is an excellent host and cooks amazing meals. Looking forward to going back again soon. "

"Friendly owner, decent breakfast, clean rooms. If I would make any suggestions, it would be to have a luggage rack or large shelf in the room as there is limited space to lay a suitcase flat other than the bed."

"The room was clean and massive (I had one of the suites). The menu is very varied with good choices for specials."

"Never stayed in a hotel before with so many restrictions. Unable to check-in before 3pm, or use any of the leisure facilities until then. Had to pay £50/night for my dog to accompany me when I booked the hotel specifically because it was advertised as dog-friendly. The dinner was poor quality, bread stale, and not worth the price charged."

"Martin and Melanie are lovely hosts. B&B is a short walks from local pubs. The sunday lunch in the George was excellent. Breakfast around the kitchen table with the other guests was a real treat. As was the various fruits from their garden. Easy travel to numerous places including Stourhead and the Fleet Air Arm Museum. Great hosts highly recommended."

"We enjoyed our 2 nights stay here. We were attending the New Wine festival at Shepton Mallet so needed somewhere to sleep! We didn't use many of the facilities as we literally got up & left for the day but there were plenty of facilities available! We slept like babies in the comfy bed! Lesley was a very helpful hostess & communicated often. She's even posting me back an item of clothing we left behind! The accommodation was comfortable, there was parking available too! We would highly recommend staying here❤️"
