Check in was easy, room was clean. The entire property reeked of cigarettes, including the room I had on the 2nd floor. I attempted to get a cup of coffee from the area near the front desk, it was awful, undrinkable. I looked at the breakfast buffet but from the looks of the "people" in line, I didn't want to chance a communicable disease. I ate off property. The room sufficed for my needs but if you are sensitive to cigarette smoke, find somewhere else to stay.

Our hotel room was clean and the bed comfortable. Check in took longer than expected due to a shift change but the staff were very friendly. Apparently Iowa allows smoking in the hotel and casino and even though we had a "smoke free" room, the stench of smoke through out the property was overwhelming. I imagine if you are a smoker, this would be no big deal. The restaurant Lucky's service was slow at the bar, but the food was worth the wait! Prices were reasonable. The show we attended was amazing! Great talent! The casino had plenty of slots and we walked away with more money than what we came with. If there wasn’t smoking allowed within the hotel or casino, I would visit again.

The hotel is connected to the casino. There are doors that would close it off but they were always open, filling the halls with smoke. The rooms at first didn't smell like smoke, but after a couple of days it started making me sick and I had to find a new hotel. The hotel itself, the room, and the staff were nice. I expected some smoke, but not like it was. If it was non smoking I would definitely stay, but if you are at all sensitive to smoke, I'd suggest a different hotel.

Rooms are nice. Casino is nice. It is very clean. Continental breakfast was the worst I have ever seen. They used to have a great breakfast. The parking lot area is marred by buckled, uneven pavement. I actually tripped and fell hurting my knee elbow and both wrists. I reported it immediately to hotel and was offered medical attention which I did not need. However, I never was contacted by management to follow up or offer any type of comp. I think this was poor behavior
