“Nice greeting, even though we were checking in late. Inexpensive snacks available. Breakfast was awesome and the noon checkout for the weekend—-divine. We came from Cedar Point, were exhausted, got up early for breakfast, went back to bed, and were refreshed (and the driver safe) when we got on the road a noon. ”

“We always stay at Hampton when we travel. However, recently, I have begun to notice an unpleasant trend. Has there recently been a company memo sent out to your locations that require the front desk staff NOT to smile and NOT to in anyway indicate that they are happy the customer is checking in?? Good Lord, is their job so miserable that they act like they have been on duty for 36 straight hours? I am a business owner and I realize how hard it is to get decent employees.
