โa nice hotel, but the breakfast was quite disappointing..a paper box with a sugary muffin, a sour fruit cup, and a tiny cup of orange juice. not thoughtful or satisfying.
To make matters worse, getting this breakfast required scanning a QR code, visiting a third party website, and entering my personal information just to make a reservation. Honestly, it might have been better not to offer anything at all.
No one would expect to go through this much trouble just to get such a mediocre breakfast...
โThe place was beautiful. The staff was wonderful. The mattress was not comfortable. That is my only complaint. Otherwise phenomenal and beautiful. โ
โNew property, great staff, breakfast and dinner daily and did I mention free cocktails what else could you ask for. We were also grateful for the air conditioning. โ
โWe loved that they had a free shuttle to downtown historic Charleston. You could also take the Water Taxi for a small charge. The room was very nice and we had a great view of the harbor/ocean. Overall it was a great stay!โ
โThe staff were friendly and very helpful. The view from our room was amazing! Easy to walk to good restaurants. My husband and me came to simply relax and enjoy the beach. It was nice to not have to drive around to have great food next door or in the hotel restaurant. Do wish that after several visits to this facility itโs starting to be run down around the pool and hot tub was in need of some real attention. Even so, we will return because everything else has been great. โ
โOur room was spacious! Great amenities & breakfast. Staff could be a little more accommodating. One downside is, they do not have daily housekeeping. Overall we had a great stay. Beautiful property. โ
โClean room. AC was sporadic. Good sound insulation until neihbors kept door open and smoked outside our room. Left before vreakfast, but have stayed here before and it was good then.โ
โWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sonesta. We truly enjoyed our dinner at the patio restaurant. The food was delicious and our server was great. We loved sitting by the adult pool and at the fire pit. It was so nice to order frozen drinks right from our poolside lounge chair. We rented bikes and had a great time riding around the island. โI loved cause it was clean I loved the big cuzzi tub and the water stayed hot it never ran out while we all took showers but I got in jacuzzi lol and relaxed โ
โBreakfast was fabulous!! Price was great, loved the king room with large sleeper sofa couch and coffee table. A great room to relax in. Would definitely stay here again!! โ
โWe stayed in the TIDES HOTEL. Property needs to be severely updated. Small rooms and bad condensation in bathrooms. Musky odor and wetness stayed for hours overall bad experience โ
