"Great room, everything worked well. Helpful and friendly staff. Good location between rail station and city centre, and close to shopping and restaurants. Thank you. "

"The staff were so nice, really friendly and helpful. We had evening meal and breakfast and they were both great. The pool was fine, had a nice swim, jacuzzi and steam room. The let down was the room hadn’t been cleaned, there were still balloons in the room and leaves in the bath, half a toilet roll from previous guests. Also we got charged 4 different prices at the bar for drinks and a large Chardonnay was £15.95 for a glass, not a bottle, which we found extortionate…"

"Heating in the initial room was not able to be turned on. No equivalent room was available. I was told I would have to pay for an upgrade or stay in a freezing cold room. Finally, 2 hours later, I was advised I would be moved to another room at no additional cost. This should have been athe immediate and unquestioning solution. Very disappointing. Breakfast was also very disappointing. The most limited (and prepackaged, so not fresh) range for breakfast I have ever encountered in extensive travels."

"Romm was great & comfortable bed. Good hot shower also. Do prefer a cooked breakfast but can't fault choice with the continental. "

"Lovely friendly staff Big shout out to the lovely waitress at breakfast who was on her own due to staff sickness and was so pleasant deserving rushed off her feet Room was nicely decorated and very comfy bed "

"Check in was straight forward. - Bathroom was not very clean - Urine on the toilet seat - Shower was boiling due to shower hose split and cold water escaping - Stained bed linen Would have been nice to have some bottled water in the room. Asked for an iron and was burnt so couldn’t use it. Had a room facing high street that was extremely noisy so had little sleep. "
