"Amazing host. Can't give my compliments enough to Dat. He cared for each of us like we were a member of his family and I can say to any traveller you will always be in safe hands. He knows all the best spots to go and has access to some of the best restaurants on the island. On top of this the hotel was modern, clean and the restaurants food was incredible. "This was a great little place to stay on Cat Ba. When we went it was just the start of the tourism season, and there were a lot of building works next door. The layout of the hotel is lovely but there are a LOT of stairs - ours ended up on the 4th floor with no lift available! The staff very kindly took our luggage up and down however but this is important to note! The breakfast is ok, nothing special, and doubtful they make it fresh when you order - I think they cook it that morning and leave...

InterContinental Halong Bay Resort by IHG

10/10 Excellent

"This hotel is absolutely stunning with an incredible view of Halong Bay. The room and facilities are some of the best I have experienced. The food and drinks are reasonable priced for a 5 star hotel and the staff are helpful and friendly. Highly recommend for your stay at Halong Bay"

Tru by Hilton Ha Long Hon Gai Centre

10/10 Excellent

"Perfectly located with views to the Bay, great shopping options including shopping centre with a large department store and quality restaurants, including a wonderful vegan/vegetarian restaurant within 5 ma walk. The room was spotless, the bed linen white and crisp and plugs for electronic appliances located on headrest. Light switches within easy reach once in bed and lots of natural light which could be controlled with double lights. Breakfast was adequate with a number of choices, from fruit to cereal, yoghourt and cooked savoury dishes. Best of all it is eco friendly."
