Coo Waterfall Tours

Worth seeing and widely known are the waterfalls of Coo. It can be visited free of charge and serves as starting point for many hikers. The Amel with 15 meters is the highest and the most famous waterfall in Belgium. The small waterfall existed since about the 15th Century, the big one was established in the 18th Century by the Prince Abbot of Stavelot, apparently to protect the meander lying Petit-Coo against flooding.

The property is located outside the city centre. The staff was very friendly and allowed us to check in before the scheduled time, which was greatly appreciated. There is parking available, although spaces cannot be reserved. The hotel was very clean throughout our stay. The room could benefit from some updating; however, the hotel is currently undergoing renovation, so this is likely to improve soon.

The location is great, it's very close to a Metro. It is just walking distance from everything and the Park across the steet was lovely. The room was nice, clean and spacious, the tub was a bit uncomfortable for me to have a shower in due to its narrow shape but the bathroom was also spacious. The breakfast was okay the spread was nice. What could have been better is the bed, it's very noisy. I would recommend and also revisit.
