โStay at Econ lodge was like a home away from home. Highly recommend this hotel. Staff made us like family and accepted our dog cooper like he was one of theirs. Will definitely be back when we travel the area again โ

โDon't expect a fancy hotel with this one. It is somewhat run down. Some door handles were broken, baseboards and carpets messed up, bathroom with rusty ceiling. The rooms are spacious and the staff were great. The breakfast included was a grab-and-go breakfast bar with cereal, granola bars, fruit, and donuts. There is nothing hot for breakfast. Make sure you look at the Palm Island Waterpark hours. It's advertised in the name, but it was only opened for a few hours on the weekend when we came in...
โCheck-in was quick and easy. Staff were friendly. Room was clean and the bed was so comfortable. Loved the location and the quietness of the hotel. If you have a normal diet (no allergies like me) then this breakfast looked delicious!! All in all would recommend!! โ
โWe stayed at the Attican Motel while spending the day at Darien Lake and seeing a concert that night. It is only a 15 minute drive away. The motel sits on a hill above the main road, so it was pretty quiet. The photos donโt really do it justice and it looks even nicer in person. Itโs a quaint family-run establishment and care has been taken to keeps things up to date for the most part. We were very comfortable here. Two things youโll want to be prepared for though:
1) A $50 deposit is required...
โVery clean. Comfy bed and pillows. Large room with large bathroom. Loads of electric outlets. Terrific location - walk to a wide variety of independent shops and restaurants. Lovely and safe area to walk about. Well equipped gym and clean pool. Could use bigger towels for the pool. Well stocked breakfast and warm cookies at night! What more could you ask for?โ
โA very nice spot. We were on our way to Canada and stayed there just one night but it will become a regular spot on our travels back and forth. Quiet, peaceful and a delicious breakfast to get us on our way. โ
"I arrived at 6 p.m. and was told to wait as the room was not ready. The staff had no manners. When I asked why, they told me there was a problem with the drying of the bedsheets. I waited for half an hour, but they kept saying sorry without expression. When I went up to the room, the bedsheets were wrinkled and unpleasant, and the bathtub was clogged and the water did not flush. This is the worst hotel you should not visit."
