Cospicua, Port Region hotel rooms at the Steigenberger

This hotel is wonderful, it's comfortable, well-designed and in a good location, and the staff is so friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again if we're in Malta in the future.

A great fresh breakfast selection with dairy and protein selections were available each morning on the property. Staff made tasty omelets if desired. This is hotel is extraordinary. Set right in the center of Valletta, you cannot ask for a better location. As soon as you open it’s doors you feel the tranquility of this perfect hotel. A renovated palace, meticulously maintaned it’s the perfect spot to explore Malta. Our suite was spacious, with a comfortable bed, two renovated batrooms - perfect for an extended stay. We stayed twice in this property during our trip to Malta. We checked in at night because our flight landed after midnight. The staff was very pleasant and attentive. They gave us a beautiful room with modern bathroom and sauna. Pity the sofa was not made into a sofa bed and all three of us had to sleep on the bed (by the way, the bed and pillows and linen are amazing). Breakfast was good, with wide choice of menu items, however I didn't like the taste of eggs.

Great stay - couldn’t fault any of it

Everyone at the front desk was friendly, capable, and extremely professional. The breakfast was good and the service in the restaurant was also very good. Our room was very nice and sitting in our Jacuzzi late at night and/or in the morning was REALLY nice. On our last day, we did hang the “Do Not Disturb” sign on our door, but the maid decided to open the door anyway while we were inside. This could have been an awkward situation, but luckily everyone in the room had clothes on. Honestly...

One of our most comfortable stays anywhere. The rooms were spotless, modern, quiet and bed comfortable. Location was perfect, close to waterfront, ferry port , shopping and restaurants. We enjoyed the breakfast and the pools, outdoor and indoor. The staff at the front desk were extremely friendly, professional and helpful and made us feel welcome in Malta.

9-night stay in February. It's a well-run hotel with good service in a happening area. About 50 restaurants within a 10-minute walk. Very comfortable bed in a soundproofed room which kept out the late-night feral cat noise overture serenading the neighborhood. A bonus was an alcove for a window affording a half-view of Spinola Bay for no extra charge.
