"Bonavista is at the edge of the tourist area, in a quiet part of Calella. 10 mins away from the beach, the same distance to the main street with the restaurants & shops. It is a very basic hotel, but very clean. Rooms were cleaned & bedding changed daily. When we arrived it was very late & the night porter opened the bar for us so we could have a beer, which was great. We asked for extra pillows & towels & received them within minutes. "Loved this hotel. Had to check in late due to a flight delay, the man on the front desk was so nice and welcoming which was appreciated after a long day. The hotel lobby is really nice and clean, check in was easy and reasonable charges for late check out available which was great. Our room was very spacious, huge bathroom with bath and shower, and a nice little terrace area with sunbeds and a table and chairs. Aircon easy to work, quiet area and hotel was quite too. Bed was super comfy with enough pillows. There are a range of small restaurants/cafes along the harbour that are within walking distance, and the train station/bus stops are about 10 minute walk away. Easy to navigate and get you to central Barcelona. At the train station area there is supermarkets/convinience shops too. We had everything we needed at this hotel and would definitley stay again if we returned. Also, in the bathroom are little care boxes with toothbrush, razor, shower caps etc which was a nice touch. "
