“La Frégate feels like a weathered beach lodge. It is clean and comfortable and the ocean view (and constant sound of the waves) is everything!
The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice (for an additional €13) and the reception area features a full bar, where you can conveniently order a café or cocktail. The local buses go into Bayonne, Biarritz, Guethary or Saint Jean de Luz.
Bedding and bathroom were comfortable. I wish the balcony windows had screens, as small flies appeared on...

“Lovely location. Great gardens and swimming pool area. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The bar staff in particular couldn’t do enough to help you. Nice cliff top walk down to St Jean de Luz. All in all, we had a very pleasant two night stay here. Could have stayed longer!”
