"This place is a little gem, especially if you like quaint and retro, and very affordable (I was there in Oct). Most suitable for solo travellers or couples.
It's super clean and I just loved having a little patio overlooking the sea, a little kitchenette with fridge, tea/coffer maker.
Location is right on the beach at Le Racou (parking area between hotel and beach) which is about a 10-minute walk over to the more ritzy Argeles port area (lots of restaurants and bars) and a 40-minute walk into the center of the old village and the train station.
Fabulous walking/cycling trails everywhere and a 'navette" or local little bus that circles around the town from early morning to evening for 1 euro - pay onboard. Market day is Wed - well worth going to stock up on snacks for an evening on the patio.
It's a self-check-in place which is pretty easy to navigate. My only critique is that because I arrived at night, I struggled with the poor lighting and signage around the check-in area making it difficult to find at first.
I would definitely return - very pretty area. Great cliff walk to Collioure - gorgeous! Local bus to Ceret (famous art hub) from Argeles Aire Multimodal - 2 euros. Market day Sat with heaps of local goodies and arts/crafts. Loved it!"
