The staff was very friendly and helpful with local restaurants and general info on Crested Butte.

Nice B&B, great host.

Fantastic experience all around! Delightful host Chris brought the guests together for a beer tasting every evening at 5 pm, and of course cooked a fabulous breakfast every morning. Overall created a very casual and social but not imposing atmosphere that facilitated communication among the guests to the extent that everybody desired.

Wonderful

We booked the last room which was quite small but comfortable - we'd prefer a 5ft bed minimum but beggars can't be choosers. All the other rooms have large beds and plenty of space. Breakfast was wonderful each morning. The owner, Chris, was extremely helpful making us reservations at restaurants, giving us tips on hiking, and letting us know what was going on in the town. The beer tasting each night was fun and gave us a chance to meet other guests and talk more to Chris about the town and area. The area is stunning for hiking. We also used the courtesy bikes and had great fun. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. All in all, wonderful. We'll be back.

Fantastic!

We were so pleased with the Purple Mountain B & B. Chris was a wonderful host. His place is beautiful and cozy and immaculate. He keeps you up on everything there is to do on the mountain. And in town...not to mention morning weather forecasts. And....his breakfasts are delicious. ...plus he made me options to accommodate my special diet restrictions. 5★★★★★ from us. Looking forward to going g back

Within walking distance of town, quiet, relaxing and had wood burning fireplace in main area. Breakfast was great!

Amazing place, definitely worth staying

This place is amazing. Chris is wicked nice, very knowledgeable about what to do in town, where to ski on the mountain, etc. He makes an awesome, gourmet breakfast every morning, perfect to get you ready for the ski day. The house is very comfortable and welcoming. Having a hot tub is a great way to relax after the ski day. Right next to downtown, so it's an easy walk to get some food/drinks in town. Overall an amazing experience, will definitely go back. Thanks Chris
