Wonderful place to stay in central Crewkerne. Staff was very friendly and efficient. Room was exactly as pictured. The room was so unique! Our room faced the street and was a bit noisy at night but we had our window open. Highly recommend!

Easy check in, great apartment, great hosts, we ate in the restaurant here and it was expensive but worth the money for sure. I’d come back here again for sure and wouldn’t have any issue putting visiting family/friends up here. Great all round experience.

Good location but noisy town centre

The Crooked Swan is a nice place to stay in. We had a positive experience in general, except for one of the days, when the room was not done on our return late in the afternoon, and the reason they gave us was that they skipped it and later told me that they had a busy lunch. In any case the restaurant was very good and I highly recommend it. One other thing that bothered us is the amount of traffic outside the hotel, with heavy lorries and trucks going through town which made it really noisy to the point where you cannot open the windows. The staff was nice and breakfast was very good.

A great place to explore the Jurassic Coast. About 20-30 min drive to coast, but we loved staying in this old inn and pub with high ceiling rooms and lovely atmosphere. Parking was easy in an inexpensive car park very close by. A nice old town well located for exploring. One our favorite stays on our vacation.

The Swan is amazing. The food was excellent. My partner and I both had a 3 course evening meal -fighting each other over the dessert, so we shared. Our room had so many quirky thing's in it. We will stay here again.

Busy pub and there was only one member of staff working so we waited with our bags at the bar until a big order of drinks had been dealt with. The room was very comfortable, a couple of hairs in the sink. Decorated nicely with antiques. No sugar or milk in the room but we asked for some at the bar downstairs. A hair dryer would have been handy. The evening menu was limited so we dined elsewhere. The cooked breakfast was really good. We would have slept better had it not been for an energetic menage a trois above us. Not the hotel's fault.

Stylish and cosy

Our stay was pleasant, the room comfortable and the breakfast delicious. It is a charming old building, cleverly incorporating modern facilities, so visitors get the best of both worlds - freestanding bath and powerful shower, wall tapestries and spacious bed. The atmosphere is cordial. The staff members are professional and friendly. A delightful place that we would be happy to book again.

Stayed in the large and luxurious honeymoon suite. Lovely comfy bed and great views. I just loved the hotel's character and decor. Really central location and fabulous food! Really kind and helpful staff too. Little extras in the room would have been nice, like a mini fridge, milk, robes, a few fresh flowers...the personal touch. The staff were really friendly and keen to help. The dinner menu was impressively varied, conveniently adaptable and very tasty. We were a group of four and noone felt sufficiently hungry for a main course, so we ordered almost the complete range of starters, like tapas, this was provided with great enthusiasm and everyone enjoyed the selection.
