"Typical static caravan, it’s dated but it’s not run down. It reminds me of holidaying with my grand parents. It’s on the main road so there are times where it’s noisy - but that can’t be helped and it’s seriously not often. Site owners are thoroughly lovely, vey kind, knowledgeable and friendly. More than happy to approach you and have a genuine chat, not just pass the time or fake charm. The rest of the guests reflect this too. "What a lovely hotel and incredible staff! I arrived later than planned following a late booking and 8 hour drive. Thankfully, this was not an issue and the reception staff were friendly and helped me find a parking space before directing me to my room. No fuss, no problem. I then enquired about dinner, having dropped off my bags, and was looked after incredibly well by Brian and Anita. They acknowledged my coeliac disease and Brian went through the entire menu and explained what was safe to eat, and what I had to avoid. This put my mind at ease as not all places are coeliac-friendly, and the extra care and attention was very much appreciated. The same the following morning for breakfast, too. I was in a cottage room just to the side of the main hotel and it was spacious, clean, and comfortable. No issues whatsoever. This really is a lovely hotel and all the staff I encountered were polite, smiling, and happy to help. Highly recommended. I will be staying here again when I find myself in the area."
