“We had previously eaten at this hotel and were so impressed that we decided pay another visit and stay the night. We were not disappointed. The room was excellent. Every member of staff we met were warm and friendly and the cooked breakfast was superb. Appledore is such a lovely destination and a stay at the Royal George makes it all the more special. The small kitchen area included a microwave great for a cosy meal in. The continental breakfast was amazing and really set you up for the day. Set in quiet countryside outside Bideford with easy access to local attractions and exploring the countryside. A really relaxing break for us and would definitely recommend staying...

“Have been to Woolacombe many times and this was the best property we have stayed in. Comfy bed, good quality furnishings and great location within the village Only thing I was say is we used the washing machine and then couldn’t find a clothes dryer …. Maybe it’s there somewhere but we couldn’t find one ”

“I booked online and then researched the Holiday Park after (slightly backwards way of doing it) but I’m glad I didn’t take all the reviews too seriously, I’ve stayed in far worse hotels than this. Obviously late December is definitely not peak season either but still enough people about. The kids loved the pool and there was an on duty life guard and cafe. Our apartment was nice too. If I could give 1 bit of feedback it’s that the changing room for the pool is an open 1 room which the boys...
