"This is a beautiful small boutique style hotel. Everything is on the ground level, which is nice not to have to use an elevator every time you come and go. The pool has a beach style entrance and a deeper area for lap swimming. Its quite and lots of loungers in the shade. The amazing staff is the same few people, so I really got to know/trust them. The restaurant has fresh food and cold drinks! Its the perfect location, 15min drive to a lot of areas and beaches. The room was clean but could use a bit of a refresh(silicone around the toulet, paint) Luckily I wasnt there for a fancy room, I was there to explore the wild side of CR. Highly recoment this place!!"

"The view from the balcony and pool is amazing although there are a few areas that the hotel could improve. The room aesthetics could improve. There was nowhere to sit but the balcony. No iron/microwave in the room and the closet lacked doors. I understand the decision to serve authentic Costa Rican food at the breakfast buffet but a variety of other foods could make it a bit better and tasteful. It was great to have shuttle transportation and all the drivers were super friendly! If the shuttle ran roundtrip all day that would make it better. It only ran for the first 15 mins of every hour. There were times we were done with our walk in town and had to wait for a good 20 mins for the shuttle. "

"We had a superior oceanview room. The view of the water, resort and sunset were spectacular! The food was exceptional, staff very friendly & accomodating. Spa/massage was great! Classes were amazing. Location perfect! In the heart of tamarindo, right across from beach, restaurants, shops, surfing. But Very safe and quiet! Costa Rica, Tamarindo and this resort exceeded our expectations! "

"They throw a raging party on Friday nights, which is not made clear up upon booking only upon check-in. The party is ridiculously loud. You cannot sleep with the noise or the vibration of the room due to the loud music that goes until 2:30 in the morning. Completely unacceptable for a hotel. It is not a nightclub. It is a place where people go to try to get peace and sleep."
