"This stay was an unmitigated disaster and far below standard, characterized by misrepresentation, unacceptable cleanliness, and nonexistent service. The experience began with a bait-and-switch room discrepancy, requiring us to negotiate and pay extra to receive the large family room we originally booked. "The staff is friendly and polite, but the rooms are not cleaned every day. Bottled water for coffee, toilet paper and towels are brought to the bathroom upon request.Otherwise they don’t bring any of those, they don’t clean everyday. I wake up early and breakfast doesn’t ready until almost 10am. Am an early bird so I need my coffee. Otherwise, it’s a nice family environment. I might consider coming back but they need to make sure they need to be on top of things without request. "

"The owners were VERY gracious and understanding even after my very late arrival. They offered me a choice of upgraded rooms and even an extra blanket for the chilly night. The views are amazing. The hotel is elevated and set back from the main road - there was no street noise. Breakfast was very impressive, including a choice of what seemed like 3 home-made jams. "
