“We had a wonderful stay at this b and b which is in a beautiful setting. The hosts Sarah and Paul went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The breakfasts were very good with lots of choices and catered well for my gluten free needs.”

“The hotel could be amazing but unfortunately it is now dated and needs to be refurbished. The standard twin room does not have an overhead shower and the room was dated and shabby. There was no bottled water as stated either. The room was also very hot and they do not provide fans as standard. “Wagon was in a lovely location on a farm and owner was very nice, once I managed to find the farm , but checking in time or instructions would have been helpful . Bed was comfortable and I did appreciate the tea, sugar and milk provided , but the room itself was quite cold -with one tiny inadequate heater . Bathroom was also very cold and smelled very damp and unfortunately the toilet seat was loose and shooting off to one side. ”

“Absolutely delightful hotel. Me and a friend booked a room each for the Hay Festival, and we couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The staff were wonderful; helpful, friendly, even showed us to our rooms. The location was great, not too far away but far enough that I’d was quiet and tranquil. The breakfast is well worth the money, as is the Old Barn pub across the road, where we ate that night. A fantastic stay, I can’t wait to return with my husband next time.”

“A lovely hotel with beautiful views. Very nice restaurant with very good breakfast & dinner. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very disappointed to find the pool out of order after our long drive, guess we should have rang ahead. Bedroom ok, bed & bedding good. There was an air on unit set up and plugged in but it was dead, there was a fan that was incredibly loud at night. Also most of the light fixtures didn’t seem to work. Shower was ok. A nice short stay but questionable if it was...

“Stayed here many many times when working in the area and always find it clean and comfortable. Unfortunately on this occasion I was disappointed in room (207) as the window would not close and the room faces onto the busy main road which is very noisy. Also the TV was broken so had no choice but to listen to the boy racers and motorbikes outside instead. Just unlucky it was the last double room available. However that said I'm sure the issues will be rectified by the wonderful staff at Ponty...
